Who am I? A unique combination of many ingredients added to a long simmering stew whose flavo(u)rs keep deepening over time. It started with Midwestern USA roots. I grew up in Wisconsin, all Midwestern nice with suppressed feelings. In college I studied abroad in the Netherlands and learned Dutch directness (The UnDutchables). I then moved to San Francisco, worked in tech, performed in plays, and was immersed in the California overshare. From there, Glasgow — where I honestly thought "why is everyone so mean?" for six months before realiz(s)ing that's just how they show love. It taught me how to properly banter. Then London! A truly multicultural city with more people than some countries. So many different languages, cultures, ways of being. It taught me to be open to seeing the world in different ways, and to adapt fast. I bring all of that, and more, to my work as an actor.
I've done all this as an American abroad, a husband, a pizzaiolo, a photographer, and an enthusiastic explorer of London. Results have been decent too.
Trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and American Conservatory Theater.

►The chemistry you ignite with your acting partners is no surprise. Lance, when you were at callbacks for "Perfect Wedding," you blew me away. I think it is your ability to "shine" while "sharing" — that, and the control you have over your body so that every muscle seems to convey the spoken word.
