Working with Lance is a joy. He takes direction incredibly well, hitting every little nuance to a perfect beat. Having done multiple sessions with him, I can only say they are some of the most fun I’ve ever had – and he nails it!

VOICE ACTOR

-VIDEO GAMES-

Games! I fell into voicing them. I didn’t know how much I’d love it until I first did it and learned how much fun it is.

Which is strange in retrospect because I was SUCH. A. VIDEO GAME. KID. Then I stopped for years. I found my way back into gaming after voicing on Hitman and seeing how much games had evolved, I was hooked again. The game that blew me away was The Last of Us. I found myself so emotionally engaged, empathising, inhabiting the characters I was playing. I’m a big advocate for the medium now. It’s interactive storytelling, walking through and living someone else’s life, or just a bit of fun. There’s something for everyone!

Where I’ve really shined is in comic characters. The writing in the Hitman games, for example, is so unbelievably good. It’s funny, layered, referential, and narratively complex. In those narratives there are several very human stories, which because of human nature, are often very funny.

If you let me improvise on your game, you might just love it. Magical things happen while you’re in the flow. Get the scripted dialogue, of course, but also leave some room for play. It might be amazing! Or it might make no sense whatsoever. But the journey is the destination and the important thing is the friends we made along the way.
